Local elections in Pennsylvania are held every two years on off-cycle election years. The 2025 elections will be the next time Pennsylvania holds municipal elections. Until then, stay tuned for information about 2024 and check out our endorsed candidates from 2023:

Our mission
The goal of the Ephrata Public Interest Committee is to fully represent the issues cared about by all citizens of Ephrata, regardless of party or political ideology. The EPIC focuses on reaching out to the community and ensuring that the people of Ephrata know what is going on in the Borough and are well informed.
The EPIC primarily focuses on engaging with youth voters and getting younger citizens involved in the community and local politics. Young people vote at significantly lower rates than other age groups, and the EPIC aims to turnout these voters and recruit younger candidates for office. The youth are the future of this nation, and a strong sense of civil service begins at the local level.
What we do
The EPIC is a Political Action Committee registered with the FEC. The EPIC serves two primary purposes: first, to stay active in and inform residents about local politics; second, to help young candidates run for office. The intersection of youth voters and local politics is the core of our organization.

Our services include:

Helping potential candidates figure out how to run for office

Advising candidates on how to manage an effective campaign

Endorsing affiliated candidates and including them on our official media

Potentially providing campaign funds for affiliated candidates

Hosting get out the vote drives and campaign events

The EPIC also provides endorsements for candidates who are not affiliated with the EPIC, but who we believe represent our values of public service. We are a bipartisan organization and do our best to help candidates of any political affiliation run for local office.
